Out of Their great compassion for humankind, enlightened Master of the past have expressed the Truth in eloquent words, including through poetic expressions. Left with us today, for example, are the elevating songs of Milarepa and Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and the carefully worded teachings of Lao Tzu, Kabir, and Rumi. All these poems by the Masters served as tools to bring humankind closer to the realms of the Divine.
