Today we are meeting Ameliarose, an incredibly talented singer/songwriter who is finding success in the music world, through her soaring voice and beautiful songs. Ameliarose made it to the Top 68 of American Idol’s Hollywood Week of 2019, which is a tremendous accomplishment, especially for someone who was only 16 years old at the time! “Well, the first song I ever wrote Was called ‘Save the Orangutans'. But it was about like saving the environment. And I think that my mom was the one who kind of was like, urging me to kind of be more in the community, in the vegan community. Once I got older, once I was vegan and stuff like that.” Ameliarose, as a vegan, how are you able to use your musical talents to support the vegan movement? “I love performing, for like vegan events and stuff like that. So I’ve played ‘Hudson Valley VegFest,' ‘Kingston Animalia,’ the ‘Can I Live’ festival and I think a couple of others. But I would love to get more active in the vegan music community.” “I just did a project with a friend of mine, about trying to incorporate meatless Mondays at my school. People seem very open to the idea.” We hope you are inspired by Ameliarose’s passion for music, and her efforts to promote the compassionate vegan diet.
