In today’s news, Germany and European Union support water projects in Jordan, worldwide malaria cases and deaths in 2020 exacerbated by COVID-19, researchers in United States find goji berries protect eyes, mentorship program supports girls interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields in Australia, young boy from US rescues family from house fire, popular sweet brand in United Kingdom goes fully vegan, and burrowing parrot-people successfully recover after 35 years of conservation work in Chile.

Jordan receives infrastructure aid from European Union (EU) and Germany.

The government of Germany and the EU have contributed four grants totaling €77 million to implement water management projects in Ajloun, Amman, Irbid, Jerash and Ramtha, benefiting approximately 80,000 people. These donations will be used to fund the sixth phase of the Water Resources Management Programme, which is designed to protect underground water sources, improve wastewater treatment, and ensure a water supply to the most vulnerable households. The realization of these projects will take place in several refugee communities in Jordan and will help host communities, farmers and refugees by providing them with access to clean water. Germany is a Shining World Caring Leadership Award and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Wise Governance laureate. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Our appreciation, Germany and European Union, for your considerate endeavors that ensure the well-being of Jordan’s friendly residents. In Heaven’s gracious kindness, may all countries follow your noble example of goodwill while helping preserve our unique home planet.

Global malaria situation in 2020 worsened by COVID-19.

In a new report, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that compared to 2019, worldwide malaria incidences increased by 14 million, bringing total cases in 2020 to 241 million, while lives lost to the disease rose by 69,000, with 627,000 deaths. About two-thirds of these additional fatalities were associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, adversely affecting prevention, diagnosis and treatment availability. In 2020, approximately 95% of all malaria cases and 96% of all deaths were encountered in sub-Saharan Africa, with about 80% of the victims being children under five. To meet the 2030 goals of reducing 90% of global malaria cases and mortalities, WHO is calling for new approaches and tools as well as an increase in annual worldwide funding from the current US$3.3 billion to US$10.3 billion by 2030. Many thanks for the valuable report, World Health Organization. May all sectors work together to create a disease-free safe haven for everyone, in God’s bountiful Blessings. “Oh, what a wicked thing it is for flesh To be the tomb of flesh, For the body's craving To fatten on the body of another, For one creature to continue living Through one live creature's death.” ~ Diogenes Laërtius (vegetarian)

Up next, researchers in United States find goji berries protect eyes. We’ll just thank the chefs at mobile vegan food trucks and food carts who skillfully prepare and serve delicious, mouth-watering meals to their customers. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more helpful news.

Hallo, virtuous friends, it’s Sasha, a vegan lady from the Snowflake Eel kingdom! My heart is about to burst in joy when I think about the loving-kindness of the vegan way. This is just how all of us should live. We have a tip on dog-people health for you today. Get creative with your dog-person companion and try to incorporate carrots into their diet whenever you can, as it is a great source of beta-carotene which acts as an antioxidant, wards off infections and helps improve eyesight. You can cook the carrots and mash them up to add them to their vegan meal or use a dehydrator to dry them into carrot chips for a quick and healthy snack. Most canine-persons will enjoy a crunchy carrot as is! Be sure to cut it into bite-size pieces to help them avoid choking. Thank you for watching. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now the weather from around the world.

United States researchers find dried goji berries protect against common eye disease.

Researchers from the University of California, Davis, have discovered that 28 grams of goji berries consumed five times a week by 13 healthy study participants between the ages of 45 and 65 helped enhance the protective pigments in their eyes. However, a commercial eye health supplement taken by 14 participants for the same amount of time lacked similar positive results. High concentrations of the antioxidants zeaxanthin and lutein in the berries help filter out damaging blue light and prevent age-related macular degeneration. In Chinese medicine, the berries are known to have “eye brightening” properties, and further study will be conducted on their effectiveness. Our gratitude, University of California, Davis researchers, for looking to nature’s bounty for health remedies. In Divine care, may we quickly transition to a fully vegan diet to ensure our physical vessels thrive.

Mentorship program supports girls pursuing underrepresented career paths in Australia.

The nonprofit organization Uniq You was created in 2021 to encourage more females to study within the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, which are typically male-dominated. According to a survey by Professionals Australia, women make up only 29% of the university-qualified STEM workforce. Within management and executive roles, the percentage is even less. Through Uniq You, high school girls have the chance to be connected with a professional woman in the STEM industry of their interest. Conversations with an experienced woman in the field can help empower and give confidence to girls making career choices. What a motivating project, Uniq You! Our applause for helping promote gender inclusivity in the workplace. May we see more and more smart, aspiring, young women contribute towards these industries, thus advancing society, in the upliftment of the Providence.

Nine-year-old boy from Tennessee, United States, saves family from burning home.

Tristan Cook was watching television with his three younger siblings when he heard a pop-like noise and smelled smoke coming from another room of the house. When he opened the door to investigate, he saw the home office was on fire. Tristan quickly sprang into action and alerted the entire family by repeatedly yelling, “Mom, there’s a fire!” His prompt thinking led to everyone escaping the house before it was enveloped by flames in a matter of minutes. Speaking of Tristan’s life-saving action, his grateful mother said, “I was so proud and so blessed. He got us all out. He warned us all.” You are such a hero, caring Tristan Cook. Our big praises for swiftly helping to save your loved ones. In Celestial goodwill, may you and your cherished family members soon rebuild and be always protected. Refuse vegan? Ah, ur benevolence has been covered. Open it with vegan.

Coming up, popular United Kingdom sweet brand goes fully vegan. We’ll pause for a moment to learn about the tradition of Vedic chanting, a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This oral tradition is believed to have started over 3500 years ago and includes techniques of complex recitation of ancient Sanskrit texts from the four Vedas – the sacred Hindu scriptures. More delightful news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Beautiful News for an Incredible World.

Popular sweet brand goes fully plant-based.

United Kingdom-headquartered Candy Kittens recently removed bee-person wax from one of its gourmet sweets, making the brand completely vegan. Founded by popular British actor Jamie Laing and Ed Williams in 2012, the company is committed to making “irresistible sweets that will inspire you to live consciously.” People expressed their joy on social media at the brand’s veganization. The enthusiastic founders recently continued their vegan advocacy and invested £750,000 in a plant-based, biodegradable chewing gum business. Way to go, Jamie Laing, Ed Williams and the Candy Kittens team, on your wise decision to remove all animal-person ingredients from your delicious confectionary. May your efforts encourage other food manufacturers to also swiftly go vegan, as we enjoy the sweet taste of love in action, in God’s Benevolence.

Chile’s burrowing parrot-people population goes up over 35 years.

The Chilean subspecies of the burrowing parrot-people has increased from 217, three and a half decades ago, to almost 4,500 currently, due to dedicated conservation endeavors. These parrot-persons use ravines or hillsides beside rivers to dig their nests and live there throughout the mating season from September to February. After the Río de los Cipreses National Reserve in Chile was established in 1985, native plants were restored, which supplied food for the lovely parrot-people, who are classified as endangered in the national red list. In 1996, a law was introduced in the country that banned the hunting, capture, and collection of eggs and chicks of the burrowing parrot-people. Much respect, conservationists, for your tireless efforts to ensure that these charming bird-persons have the perfect habitat to increase in number and live in peace. In Heaven’s nurturing love, may their population continue to expand as they cheerfully beautify our planet.

A laughter session is now officially open with the joke of the day, called “How to Change a Lightbulb.”

The old monk says to the new monk:

“Do you know how to change a light bulb?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Alright, we have many things to do today. So, how long do you think it will take you?”

“Well, it’s a long process!”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, the light bulb must first understand that real change comes from within...”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Chen-Yun in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

Hallo, I’d like to share the following story with viewers of Supreme Master TV: Wonderful communication with flatfish-people friends:

Some years ago, I (a vegan) joined a group tour to Hokkaido, Japan, and one of the destinations was a local fish-people market. I was amazed at the appearance of the flatfish-people in a water tank, but also felt sorry and sad for their destiny. I talked to the flatfish-people, “I love you! You look so cute, and I like you so much, but I can’t help you except to wish that you’ll be reborn as humans, good, vegan humans, and never be fish-people again. Bye-bye.”

After returning to the hotel, a strange vision came to me during my meditation. A group of young boys wearing only light-blue boxer shorts were standing in a shallow stream with a stone bank with water plants behind them. Waving their hands high, they seemed to be welcoming me to Japan. The next moment, they crouched down and dived to the bottom of the stream where they changed into the form of flatfish-people half-buried in the sand.

I then realized that our flatfish-people friends wanted to show me that they once were also humans. Even though their physical shapes are different from ours, animal-people all have human-like souls within them, which means eating animal-people is actually eating human beings.

I truly wish that God would help to tell our animal-people friends not to take vengeance on human beings by spreading the COVID-19 virus again, and instead, they can just come to human beings’ dreams to show them that the souls of the animal-people are the same as that of humans. I believe that a whole lot of people would not eat animal-people flesh anymore.

Lastly, may all wishes of Supreme Master Ching Hai come true. Respectfully, Chen-Yun from Taiwan (Formosa)

Aware Chen-Yun, Thank you for your heartline and for sharing your experience with us. Indeed, we are all souls and the soul can take many forms, but in truth all are equal. May all human beings realize this. Wishing you and the resilient Taiwanese (Formosan) people Heaven’s eternal protection, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has a lovely message to share with you: “Wise Chen-Yun, it is good that Heaven blessed you with this vision so you truly understand that we are all the same. No one can ever know if the meat they are eating is from their own past life mother. In this world of illusion and transmigration of souls, the soul takes any form that is a reflection of its current state of consciousness or for a particular purpose. We don’t know who is who. A Buddha could manifest as a cow-person or a squirrel-person or anything just to teach us something. Our relatives from a former life may have become animal-people in this life because of the karma they created. That is why we must treat all life with love and respect. We are all one, and I pray humans immediately realize this and stop the killing. May the Buddhas forever watch over you and benevolent Taiwan (Formosa).”

Vegan: feel the animal-people’s blessing also? Of course, it’s natural.

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal-people clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
