Wildlife photographer and retired postman Rodney Holbrook from Wales in the United Kingdom recently discovered, via a night camera, that a mouse-individual was diligently tidying his shed each evening by putting items back where they belong. Mr. Holbrook first became curious when he noticed that food he had put out for the local bird-people was ending up inside his shoes, and items such as pegs and cable ties he had left lying around in the shed were back in their place. His well-organized friend has now been named Welsh Tidy Mouse, and he jokingly said, “I think he would tidy my wife away if I left her in there.”

What an amazing story, Rodney Holbrook, of a mouse kingdom member organizing your shed as a sign of gratitude for food and lodging. May your experience help people respect our animal-people co-inhabitants, as we share our planet with all beings, in God’s enlightening Guidance.
