I would like to share a recipe tip with you! Did you know cabbage is very versatile and can be made as either a side or main dish? To prepare it, start by rinsing one medium head of cabbage and slice it into six wedges. Pour water into a big skillet or Dutch oven until approximately 1.25 centimeters deep. Next, toss in your cabbage along with 1/2 teaspoon or 2.5 grams of salt. Cover and let it simmer for about eight to ten minutes. Then carefully flip over the cabbage and simmer for another six to eight minutes or until it’s soft. Drain out the water and keep it as a stock for further cooking use. Put the pan back on the stove on low heat until all the moisture has evaporated. Drop in two to four tablespoons or 25 to 50 grams of melted vegan butter or olive oil, and evenly distribute it to thoroughly coat the boiled cabbage.
